Standing with Gaza: Syrian Hands Joins Palestine Day at Tokyo Camii

On 24th May, we had the honor of taking part in Palestine Day, an inspiring event organized by the Islamic Center Japan at Tokyo Camii. The event brought together people from various backgrounds, united by their love and compassion for Palestine and their shared commitment to justice and humanity.

Our team at Syrian Hands set up a booth featuring a wide range of authentic Syrian products. These included beloved traditional items such as Baklawa, Turkish delights, and Aleppo soap, as well as essential oils, Argan oil, and a beautiful selection of handmade accessories lovingly crafted by students from Toyo University. Each item was not just a product—it carried a story, a culture, and a message of solidarity.

Thanks to your incredible support, we raised ¥127,200 in total sales. Every yen was donated directly to the organizers of Palestine Day to support humanitarian efforts for the people of Gaza. In the face of ongoing suffering and hardship, your generosity helps deliver hope and relief where it is needed most.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who visited our booth, purchased items, and showed their support. Your presence and encouragement meant the world to us. We also want to extend our heartfelt thanks to our amazing volunteers who stood with us throughout the day, helping with preparations, sharing stories, and connecting with the visitors.

At Syrian Hands, we believe in the power of community, compassion, and collective action. Events like Palestine Day remind us that even small acts—buying a handmade gift, sharing a smile, offering a donation—can contribute to real change.

Thank you for continuing to walk this path with us.

Together, we can make a difference.
