On October 13, 2024, I had the honor of being invited by the Totsuka International Forum (TIF) as a guest speaker to share insights about Syria, its rich history, culture, and the ongoing humanitarian crisis.
My presentation, titled "A Decade of Hope," covered four key areas: my personal journey, an overview of Syrian history and culture, the origins of the Syrian crisis and its devastating impact on education and refugees, and finally, the remarkable work of Syrian Hands since 2014.
The event, attended by around 15 TIF members, was followed by a warm and engaging lunch, where I had the chance to further connect with participants. I am deeply grateful to the TIF organizers for this opportunity, which also included a donation collection to support Syrian orphans. I look forward to continuing our collaboration in the future as we work towards building hope for those in need.
