A powerful earthquake of magnitude 7 hit Morocco on Friday night, killing 1305 people and injuring 1832, according to the official TV and the Interior Ministry.
In partnership with the Japan Dawa Foundation,
Our hearts ache for Morocco as we learn of the devastating earthquake that struck on Friday night, claiming 1305 lives and injuring 1832. Buildings, including cherished heritage sites in Marrakech, have crumbled, and many are still trapped beneath the rubble. Blood donations are urgently needed, and the situation is dire.
We can’t fathom the pain our Moroccan brothers and sisters are enduring, having lost loved ones, homes, and livelihoods. Our empathy knows no bounds during this trying time.
Hence, we are initiating a relief campaign, collaborating with local organizations to provide food, water, shelter, medical care, and emotional support to affected communities. We urge you to stand with us in this humanitarian mission, contributing whatever you can to aid earthquake victims.
