Eid Festival – Across Borders 2025 | Event Recap
On Sunday, June 22, 2025, we were thrilled to host the Eid Festival – Across Borders at the Toshima Ward Community Center. The event brought together around 90 participants from a rich blend of nationalities—including Syrian, Japanese, Pakistani, Indian, Malaysian, Egyptian, Ethiopian, Bangladeshi, British, French, and many more—reflecting the true spirit of cultural unity and community celebration.

✨ Festival Highlights:
Our multicultural corners were a major highlight, drawing in visitors of all ages. The Henna Art, Arabic Calligraphy, and Lantern Handcraft stations were especially popular, creating moments of joy, curiosity, and cross-cultural exchange.
🎨 Children had a fantastic time at the Kids’ Game Corners, enjoying activities that were both fun and engaging.

🍱 After lunch, the Bazaar area opened with a lively atmosphere, featuring handcrafted goods, cultural items, and treats—thanks to the amazing contributions from Syrian Hands and our young entrepreneurs at the Kids’ Bazaar.

🍛 Lunch and sweets were a huge success—so delicious that everything sold out! The aroma and variety of traditional dishes added to the festive mood and made everyone feel at home.

🕊️ With a total duration of six relaxing and well-paced hours, the event flowed smoothly from start to finish. The extended schedule gave everyone plenty of time to explore, connect, and enjoy the celebration at their own pace.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who joined us and made this event such a beautiful, memorable day. Thank you for being a part of our effort to build cultural bridges and support a meaningful cause—education for Syrian orphans.
