Udhiyah/Qurbani Campaign 2026: Bringing the Blessings of Eid to Families Across Syria
Sharing the Joy of Eid Through Your Generosity
Every Eid al-Adha, Syrian Hands in cooperation with Japan Islamic Trust and Assalaam Foundation Tokyo work to ensure that vulnerable families can share in the blessings of Udhiyah. Thanks to the generosity of our donors and the support of our partners, the Syrian Hands Udhiyah Campaign 2026 reached families affected by conflict and displacement in Eastern Ghouta and northwestern Syria, providing fresh meat to hundreds of people during Eid.
This year's campaign reflected the spirit of compassion, community, and solidarity that has guided Syrian Hands' humanitarian work for many years.
Campaign Summary
Thanks to the generosity of our donors, the Syrian Hands Udhiyah Campaign 2026 successfully funded the sacrifice of 16 sheep, with a total donation value of ¥944,000.
All Udhiyah donations were entrusted to our trusted local partners, who carried out the slaughter and distributed the meat to vulnerable families in accordance with the Islamic principles of Udhiyah, ensuring that assistance reached those most in need during Eid al-Adha.
Supporting Families in Eastern Ghouta
Part of this year's campaign reached 110 vulnerable families in Saqba, Eastern Ghouta, providing fresh meat during Eid al-Adha.
For many families facing economic hardship, meat is rarely affordable. Udhiyah distributions allow families to celebrate Eid with dignity while ensuring children receive nutritious food during this special occasion.
Reaching Displaced Families in Northwestern Syria
Over the two days of Eid, fresh meat from a total of 163 meat portions were distributed to vulnerable families living in towns and displacement camps across Idlib Governorate. The distributions reached communities in and around Salqin, Kafr Takharim, Armanaz, Bayatis, Al-Duwailah, Saqat, and Ras Al-Tal Camp, helping hundreds of families celebrate Eid with dignity despite ongoing hardship.
These distributions prioritized displaced families and households experiencing the greatest economic hardship.
Thank You for Your Trust
Every Udhiyah donation represents much more than meat—it represents hope, dignity, and the opportunity for families to celebrate Eid with joy despite difficult circumstances.
Syrian Hands sincerely thanks every donor who entrusted us with their Udhiyah this year, as well as our partners, volunteers, and local teams who ensured the sacrifices were carried out and distributed responsibly.
Together, we continue to transform acts of worship into meaningful humanitarian support for vulnerable communities across Syria.
May Allah accept the Udhiyah of all our donors and reward everyone who contributed to making this campaign a success.
